Alterations vary with the work involved. A simple hem may be a few days; a complex suit alteration or a dress fitting can take a week or more, especially around prom and wedding seasons.
Specialty work takes longer. Wedding gown preservation is a multi-step process and is not same-day work. Leather, suede and fur cleaning are quoted with a clear timeline at intake.
